Children's Healthcare of Atlanta


Children's Healthcare of Atlanta makes kids better today and healthier tomorrow through more than 70 pediatric specialties and programs, top healthcare professionals, and leading research and technology.  The non-profit provider has been recognized by US News & World Report for excellence in cardiac, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonary and urology.  But it also offers immediate care, urgent care, primary care, rehabilitation services, sports medicine and performs more pediatric outpatient surgeries than anyone else in Georgia.  The company currently serves patients at ten Gwinnett County Locations.



Eastside Medical Center


Eastside Medical Center has been providing quality care to patients in Gwinnett and surrounding counties since it opened in 1980 as the first local community hospital.  According to their website " Eastside has earned full Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, The Joint Commission's "Gold Seal of Approval" for quality and safety in disease-specific joint replacement care, the Blue Distinction Centers Program for Spine Surgery and Gold Plus status for stroke care, and the Healthgrades 2017 and 2018 Patient Safety Excellence Award(tm) for superior performance in patient safety. The Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Center is designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the FDA."

The provider offers comprehensive medical, surgical, specialty, support groups, education programs and wellness services.  The main campus provides heart and vascular care, cancer care, orthopedics, maternity services with level III neonatal intensive care, other women's health, care for diabetes and sleep medicine, neuroscience, surgical weight loss and offers a 24-hour emergency room with 41 bays.  Further, the Spine Center treats adults with a broad range of conditions, The Breast Imaging Center offers Low Dose Genius™ 3D MAMMOGRAPHY™ Exams and the Wound Center treats non-healing wounds.  

The South Campus offers rehabilitation and Eastside Heritage Behavioral Health Services with 11 beds and full-service 24/7 Emergency Services.  MRIs, CTs, mammography, ultrasounds and other imaging services are offered at the Loganville Imaging Center.

Eastside Medical Center also currently operates four urgent care locations in Centerville, Grayson, Lawrenceville and Lilburn, GA and seven locations of Eastside Heart & Vascular in Snellville, Lawrenceville, Duluth, Buford, Loganville, Monroe and Athens.

Kaiser Permanente


Georgia's largest non-profit health plan endeavors to improve the health of its members and the community it serves.  The Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center in Duluth offers extended hours for pharmacy, lab and select imaging services.  Other Gwinnett County locations are in Lawrenceville Medical, Snellville, Sugar Hill/Buford with affiliated sites at the Gwinnett Medical Centers.


Northeast Georgia Medical Center


Northeast Georgia Health System is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia with facilities that include four hospital campuses, 700 beds near Gwinnett County and urgent care facilities in cities that include Buford, Braselton and Dacula.  They also operate the Rehabilitation Institute in Buford.  The multi-award-winning non-profit system ranked #1 in Georgia and among top 5% nationally for cardiac care.  In fact, the Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center is the largest cardiology practice in the region and one of the few in the nation that offers minimally invasive heart valve reconstruction.  Northeast Georgia Medical Center is also known for emergency services, advanced surgery and medical care, heart and vascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences, cancer treatment, comprehensive cancer services robotic surgery, labor and delivery. 


Northside Hospital - Forsyth


Northside Hospital, one of the largest and most respected healthcare delivery systems in Metro Atlanta, provides high-quality health care and outreach programs that promote health and wellness in Metro Atlanta.  The provider ranked 9th (8th in Metro Atlanta) in US News & World Report as high performing among 5000 hospitals in five categories: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, heart Failure, hip replacement and knee replacement and 4th in the world for robotic surgeries.  Northside Hospital is also recognized as a leader in same day joint-replacement, maternity and newborn care.  

The system operates 304 beds, with imaging centers in Duluth, Lawrenceville, Snellville and Sugar Hill, a cancer specialist in Duluth and an advanced surgery center in Snellville.  Outpatient services in Buford and Lawrenceville include pediatric and adult imaging, cancer care, Gastrointestinal, surgery, heart and vascular, maternity, spine care, urology, sleep disorders and emergency services.

Gwinnett County operates three health centers in Buford, Lawrenceville and Norcross, providing family planning, WIC Services, immunizations, visual, dental and hearing screenings and treatment for STD/HIV/TB.
