Brenau University


Founded in 1878, this private Gainesville, GA-based University offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees at five locations around Georgia including Norcross.  Fields of study include Business & Communication, Education, Health Sciences, Fine Arts & Humanities.

Georgia Gwinnett College

  • The School of Business holds an accreditation through The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for the challenging curriculum in accounting, economics, finance, international business management, management information systems and marketing that all meet the highest educational standards for careers in the global business market.  
  • The School of Education offers bachelor's of science degrees in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Education and Special education.  It also offers teaching certificates in Biology, Chemistry, English, History, Mathematics and Political Science.  
  • The School of Health Sciences holds an accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for academic excellence, one of only a few in Metro Atlanta where interested students can earn their bachelors of science degree in nursing.
  • The School of Liberal Arts offers majors in Cinema and Media Arts Production, Criminal Justice/Criminology, English, History, Human Development and Aging Services, Political Science and Psychology.  It offers minors in Criminal Justice/Criminology, English, Film, Geography, History, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology.  Certifications are available in Global Studies and Paralegal while certificates are offered in Latin American Studies.
  • The School of Science & Technology offers bachelors of science degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Exercise Science, Information Technology and Mathematics and minors in Biology, Chemistry, Information Technology and Mathematics. 

Gwinnett Technical College


Gwinnett Tech is on a mission to teach every individual and serve every business, billing itself as the evolution of education and workforce development with relevant, focused knowledge and specialized training through continuing and adult education programs that consistently result in 99% job placement.  The school provides extensive education through rigorous coursework with flexible scheduling at two campuses in computer science, forensics, security and more with associates degrees available in Cyber security, a certification in Cyber Crime and exclusive education in Mercedes-Benz automotive repair.  The school recently announced a new partnership with The Citadel in South Carolina to expand degrees in business, making a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration degree available to eligible students through the online and part-time business program.  In fact, over 150 affordable, high-demand degree, diploma and certificates can be earned in two years or less allowing students to pursue some 39 career paths, nearly 30 different career programs with free tuition.  Additionally, the HOPE Scholarship and Grant, the Zell Miller Grant and Workforce development grants may also cover 100% of the tuition in some programs.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine


Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a private, non-profit college, makes several academic programs available at their Suwanee Campus that include Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership and Doctor of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies.

Saint Leo University

Shorter University
